Noiztronic Factory

Noiztronic Factory is my prototype live-sampling, sequencing and audio processing unit. At its core is a Raspberry Pi computer running my custom Pure Data patch that handles all audio streams and interfaces with an Arduino board, enabling hands-on access to various parameters using buttons and rotary encoders while giving visual feedback through LCD and OLED screens.
Features:

- 8 independent tracks
- 16 steps per track
- 2 second sample per track
- auto sample re-recording every 16 steps
- individual varispeed control for each step
- additional 'global' pitch control per channel
- live audio input from online Ogg Vorbis radio feeds
- variable tempo control
- reverb with a selectable ‘tail freeze’ effect
- linear and randomised sequence orders
- equal and randomised tempo locked step durations
- 16 RGB LEDs, 16x2 character LCD and 0.96 inch OLED displays
